What is the course about?This course explores Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) which has become one of the main models for counselling in recent years especially in the NHS. Evidence shows it is effective in helping with mental health problems such as depression and anxiety. Two key CBT ideas are : what you think affects how you feel, and what you do affects how you feel. In this course you will discover ten key CBT ideas. The course is practical as well as theory-based and will include step-by-step procedures of the stages in CBT.
